Top Books to Read

Of course, every year, new lists come out with different recommendations. Since I’m a member of several book clubs, I am always excited to check out the selection.

Whether you only pick up a book occasionally or are an avid reader, below are some that have sparked my interest and may spark yours, too.

Go Gentle

This story centers on one woman’s determination to curate the life she wants. But what happens when her sudden plans change when she meets a handsome stranger?

Fun & romance merge in this cute story.

Love is an Algorithm

Meanwhile, if you are looking for a funny story about dating apps, this book is hilarious.

Eve wants to make music. She is looking for love. But she doesn’t want to rely on technology.

Danny is worried about his dad, his dating life, and why coffee prices are so high. Through the dating app he helped create, he hopes, will fix his mistakes.

When Danny and Eve start dating, it seems to be going well. Are they compatible?

Keep reading to see if their relationship works.

Seven Days In June

Eve is a single mother and an erotica writer.

Enter Shane. He is an award-winning novelist.

When they connect at a literary event, there are instant sparks. But the clincher is that they met as teenagers and pretended they didn’t know each other.

And Now, BACK To You

Moreover, if you are a fan of Harry Met Sally, this book is a take on Nora Ephron’s story.

Delilah and Jackson have encountered each other for over 10 years. Though they are opposites, they are thrown together to co-host a live broadcast during a snowstorm.

So Old, So Young

This witty story is about six friends who meet in college

At the same time, this story explores aging, friendship, and love.

Our Perfect Storm

When you are looking for a romantic novel, this book is ideal.

This story is about 2 longtime best friends, Frankie and George.

When Frankie’s fiancée ends their relationship, George convinces Frankie to take him on their honeymoon trip.

What happens when she takes him to Tofino? Do their buried feelings for one another play out?

So, do these 2 frineds turn into lovers?

This Is Not About Us

When you are looking for a good literary story, this book explores a Jewish-American family navigating through a multi-generational feud.

Dynamics and humor merge in this heartfelt story.

Indeed, this book is already on my Kindle device.

Kin

This novel is about Annie and Vernice, who are 2 motherless best friends exploring family, a rich friendship, and motherhood.

Also, this book is one of the most highly anticipated books of the year.

The Reservation

Moreover, if you love stories about food, restaurants, or humor, this book is a combination of all three.

This story is about Orsa, a restaurant owner who has 22 rib-eye steaks mysteriously disappear, and next, there are negative online reviews that follow.

Will Orsa and her staff find out who committed the theft?
