Jade let her mother in her bad state speaking and rapidly he let his imagination drive him far to the world of the unseen, he started to imagine people going in long tunnels on the
judgement day, and he visualized a bip scary place as it is hell, and ugly scary people driven to this awfull place while they're screming and crying and being thrown in it. It was a very scary scenery drawn in his imagination, so he directly woke up and called his Mom to go to the pharmacy buy him some
of the medicine he was given by the pshchiatrist.
A few moments later, Faty returned from thep pharmacy with the prescripted medicine and some junk food in an angry voice she said to Jade:' I'm still mad at you but anyway at least you should take care of your health, here, there's some food, eat well and take your pills and go to sleep, you still have some time before you get called to start your work, tommorrow morning we're having a small trip, let's just go change the mood and forget about this scary night son, go to your room honey and have a good sleep."
In the morning, Jade gathered his belongings and joined his mother for their planned trip to a rustic farm. They had decided to spend a week at a hotel by the sea, hoping the change of scenery would be therapeutic for Jade. The idea ofthe peaceful farm and the soothing ocean was a welcome distraction from the recent upheaval in Jade's life. As they arrived at the train station, Faty purchased two cups of coffee to sustain them through the journey. Jade, though seemingly composed, was still grappling with the shock of recent events. The doctor’s diagnosis and his mother’s insistence on spiritual intervention had left him feeling unsettled. He sipped his coffee, lost in thought, as they waited for the train.
When the train finally arrived, Jade and his mother boarded and found their seats. The rhythmic clatter of the train on the tracks provided a comforting background noise. Jade gazed out the window, watching the urban landscape gradually give way to the countryside. The scenic view, with its rolling hills and distant mountains, offered a semblance of tranquility he desperately needed. His mother sat beside him, occasionally glancing at Jade, her face a mixture of concern and hope.
During the journey, they spoke intermittently, discussing their plans for the week ahead. They looked forward to exploring the farm, enjoying fresh air, and spending time near the sea.
Faty believed that the pastoral setting and proximity to nature would be beneficial for Jade's mental health. She hoped that the simplicity of farm life would provide him with a respite from his worries.
Despite his ongoing inner turmoil, Jade tried to focus on the positives of their trip. He knew that his mother had arranged this getaway with the best intentions, and he was determined to make the most of it. The thought of walking along the beach, feeling the sand beneath his feet and the salty breeze on his face, brought a small measure of comfort. He imagined
the calmness of the sea might mirror a calmness he could find within himself.
As the train continued its journey, Jade’s thoughts oscillated between the events that had shaken him and the potential for healing that lay ahead. He was grateful for his mother’s unwavering support and her efforts to help him recover. The train ride, with its steady, predictable motion, offered a metaphor for his desired path forward: one of steady progress and hopeful anticipation.
Upon arrival at their destination, Jade felt a sense of cautious optimism. The farm and the sea awaited them, promising a week of new experiences and opportunities for reflection. Jade hoped that this trip would mark the beginning of a positive shift in his life, allowing him to process his recent experiences and find a way to move forward. With his mother by his side, he stepped off the train, ready to embrace whatever the coming days would bring.
They started their journey, Jade sat in his spot next to the window an started to contemplate in the nature, and once again he got drown in his imagination, he strated to ask this questions in his mind side: 'what's all about this nature , I hear people speaking and having differnet conversations, what's all this about, children are yelling and playing, what if.....? what if suddenly the train overturned and we all just die? how would this feel, what would be this pain, is it going to hurt a lot, what about this big tunnel I have seen yesterday an that scenery , are we all going to be there? Are there some people here that would be thrown in this hell place? oh my god that would be painful, why all of this was made and what is life and death is all about, he kept askin and askin himself till his
Mom woke him up: Jade, wake up son , you must have been absent minded, we're close to arrive ,look son ,here's this beautful landscape, look at the river there, we're going to have a good time here. Come on honey let's get outside the train.
Jade and Faty descended from the train and quickly hailed a taxi, continuing their journey beyond the town to their hotel. The weather was pristine, with a clear, brilliant sky and a gentle breeze that hinted at the tranquility of their destination. As they arrived at the hotel, they were greeted by a picturesque setting: the establishment nestled within a vast forest, bordered by a large, flowing river. The surroundings were serene, with the sounds of nature providing a soothing backdrop.
At the hotel reception, they checked in and were pleasantly surprised to be given a spacious room on the second floor. The room's location offered a perfect vantage point to take in the scenic beauty around them. After settling in, Jade decided to step outside to fully immerse himself in the natural surroundings. He found a comfortable chair and brought it outside, positioning it to face the sea. Sitting there, he took deep breaths of the fresh, invigorating air, feeling a sense of calm begin to wash over him.
For a moment, Jade was completely absorbed in the beauty of his environment. The vastness of the sea stretched out before him, its rhythmic waves creating a mesmerizing, calming effect. The forest, with its towering trees and the gentle rustling of leaves, added to the sense of peace. The river flowed gracefully nearby, its surface glistening under the sunlight. This moment of contemplation amidst nature's
splendor was exactly what Jade needed. It provided a stark contrast to the turmoil he had been experiencing, offering a glimmer of hope and the promise of healing.
As he sat there, Jade felt a connection to the natural world that seemed to ground him. The simplicity and purity of the scene were a welcome escape from the complexities of his thoughts and worries. The hotel’s location, surrounded by such raw beauty, seemed like the perfect place to begin his journey of recovery. With each breath of fresh air, he felt a little more at ease, a little more hopeful about the future.
Faty joined him after a while, sitting beside him and sharing in the quiet appreciation of their surroundings. They spoke softly, their conversation blending seamlessly with the sounds of nature. Jade appreciated his mother's presence and her efforts to help him find peace. Together, they watched as the sun began to set, casting a golden hue over the sea and forest, marking the end of their first day in this serene haven.
This moment, surrounded by the tranquil beauty of nature, was a small but significant step for Jade. It symbolized the beginning of a healing process, one that he hoped would bring him the clarity and peace he sought. As the evening settled in, Jade felt a renewed sense of optimism. He was ready to embrace the days ahead, to find solace in the natural world, and to move forward with a hopeful heart. And suddenly a bird came from nowhere and started shirping with a beautiful voice, it was very weird , Jade started to look at him concentrating on his beak, for a moment Jade had this idea that it was saying something, his mouth was like saying; water, water.. in a rapid tone, and then a weird thing
happened, the bird got close from the river and drunk some water and then flew away. That was so weird, it was like the little bird was thirsty and was looking for some water. Jade had a strange feeling in his body, and it was like he was seeing something shiny in the air. He turned back fast and saw his mother calling him ; Honey let's go back to the hotel have some lunch, you must be hungry sweetheart, come let's go.
Jade returned to the hotel, had lunch with his mother, and took a brief nap. During his sleep, he experienced a surreal dream in which he found himself walking on the surface of the sea. Ethereal, luminous creatures, crackling with electricity, whirled around him at high speeds, creating enchanting musical sounds. The sky overhead was a vibrant blue, interspersed with multicolored lightning that produced resonant vibrations. Electrical waves permeated the atmosphere, and the most peculiar aspect was that some of these vibrations seemed to flow in and out of Jade's body without causing him any discomfort. Upon awakening, he spent the rest of the day watching television before eventually retiring to bed.
Time passed very fast, two weeks later, Jade was feeling very better and very close from the start date of his new job, Faty and him woke up in the hotel, they had breakfast in the beautiful nature, jade kept his habit of contemplting in nature and having deep thinking in the creation , after his crisis, he was prety sure that getting spiritual and close to his Creator will be the best cure of his situation and he was training on that , trying to get out of the bad habits. he kept thinking about the weird scene of the bird, and the scene was present in his mind, and with time his spirituality developed more and
he was observing the trees with its leafs and the flowers moving with the tonation of the wind as they were meditating and praying to the Holy creator. He was getting so clear minded.‘Son, sweetheart, you got distracted again? Said Faty in a tender voice.’ Jade responded: No, Mom there's nothing wrong , i was just diving deep in this beautiful landscape, this is a beautiful place mom, that was a good initiative from you, thank you very much.’You’re welcome sweety, with pleasure; now we need to pack our stuff and get ready to return back, let's go honey', responded Faty.
They grabbed their stuff and took the train back to their house in Kambel City. It had been a good weekend, so Jade called his friend Kris and suggested they go to the supermarket together. While there, Jade bought a new costume to prepare for his upcoming job. Afterward, they decided to grab a coffee at a nearby café. As they sat down with their drinks, Kris noticed that Jade seemed a bit off and asked him about his situation. Jade opened up, sharing that he had been experiencing a crisis. He described the strange feelings he'd been having and talked about his new job and all the challenges he had faced recently.
Kris listened intently, and after Jade finished, he took a deep breathand said "Well, I don't know what to say, bro. I'm happy and sad at the same time. I'm thrilled for you about the job acceptance you really deserve it. I mean, you studied so hard for years, and your graduation was no easy process. It took a lot of hard work, and I understand that. So, congratulations, man, you earned it. But you should really take care of your mental health, bro. It should come first. No job is worth sacrificing your well-being."
Looking in a weird way in Jade's eyes like he has something hidden to say, Kris added: ' I am worried about your mental health, I mean we weren't in the same school, but I had friends studying with you and they were telling me about you, you was so closed bro, you weren't the kind of a social boy, I knew that there were people, nad specifically a girl trying to approach you and had a crush on you, but you have never let her the possibility to talk to you , you gotta be carefull man, you're a good looking guy and gotta be careful, there's a lot of haters out there. and being an introvert and a sceret boy won't make it any better.I am here for you bro, you're my friend , you can tell me anything you want and promess to help.
’Like if I had a secret or something to tell you, man ,nope you're my closest friend there's nothing to be worried about, if i had something to say i would tell you i mean just some anxiety, it’s normal because i’m starting a new adventure, that’s what life is about after all, taking new experiences every time but thanks anyway’. Said Jade
A week later, Jade received an email from the human resources department of the company. The email informed him of his official start date and provided other important details about his new position. They also mentioned that they would organize a videoconference for the members of the work team to get to know each other. Additionally, there would be a conversation with the CEO to help Jade and his colleagues become more familiar with the company's work environment and culture. On the day of the videoconference, Jade stayed at home to set up everything he needed for the call. He arranged his computer, adjusted the cameras, and positioned the lights to ensure everything was perfect. It was
an ordinary day, but Jade felt a sense of anticipation and excitement about the new chapter in his career.
The day after, the morning conference time came and Jade was sitting in front of his computer, people from different sections of the company started to launch their cameras and they were present in the conference, there was also new employees in front of their screen, then a man in his forties with a black costume came, and introduced himself :
