Nkechi Blessing used stories of her own self and an oyinbo woman she saw in the market to express how badly the economic state of the nation is right now. Here is what the actress had to say.

Opening up about her experience in the market today and what she saw, Nkechi Blessing Sunday said:
NKECHI BLESSING SUNDAY: So I literally carried N150k to the market just to buy basic things. Turkey of 2 kilo, catfish, live chicken, and goat meat. Guess what? N1,000 no dey follow me komot for this market. One yam na N10,000 now. One lean yam! And I'm still seeing that a lot of people are not talking about it anymore. E be like say una dey enjoy this new economy wey we dey so. I no be the rich, so I need to complain. The rich sef dey complain, but me, I no be the rich. I'm one of the masses, the poor masses, and I am complaining like this. E dey now and we still dey buy am. If e no come dey nko? Hmm. Time to dust my passport oh. Cuz it's no longer getting funny.
One oyinbo woman dey this market with me. Since she just dey perambulate, she never fit buy one yam cuz the price don choke her. Imagine when price dey shock oyinbo, talk less of me wey be Nigerian. I no know who I wan complain to, but I said make I just come tell una say e no dey funny anymore oh. It's no longer funny. Na hunger we dey enter so oh, and I no get farm for my compound wey I go take go farm. Hmm. Which way? It is well.
