We are all victims of saying ”I do not have enough time” to complete tasks we already committed to or said we wanted to accomplish. This statement welcomes the emotion of fear which can possibly translate and lead to procrastination. We must pay close attention to the beliefs we are programming into our minds because logically we always have more time than we think, when broken down into perspective we have 168 hours total in seven days. In order for us to experience excellence in our lives we must observe where we are spending our time the most, ask ourselves does it align with what is important to accomplishing our goals. As humans, we have three very valuable assets: our mindsets, energy, and time.

All humans have the ability to become disciplined individuals by focusing on activities that feed their souls and eliminating activities that do the opposite. World-class results are rewarded to those who develop strong fundamentals to shift behaviors and habits by creating extreme self-discipline with their time. How do we become masters of our time is a question many seek the answer for, however not many create this long searched answer for themselves. We will not be able to truly manage and improve our time until we understand how to track and measure it. Once we are able to no longer guess where our time is going we will then be able to make a strategic pivot accordingly to prioritize what will bring us closer to what is important in our life.

Where attention goes energy flows logic has it that priotizing our attenition inside the allocated time carved out to complete any specific task. Will transcend the average person from encountering ordinary experiences to extraordinary ones. No individual in life receives successful results by pure luck; they are rewarded simply due to their extreme efforts and assertive discipline. My aunt Mary recently told me “Nephew be as successful as you want and remember that the majority of the world is busy being busy, you want to be productive because there is a difference between being busy and being productive”. Her statement serves to be true to its sense. It’s very common for a person to feel unaccomplished even when a number of tasks have been completed. This is due to an individual not being internally happy during the activities in spite of feeling restless, lack of energy, or feeling depressed from the lack of time for self.

Scheduling around your energy is very important because it reduces anxiety, overwhelming stress, and it will result in high productivity. Another area to observe and eliminate is our people-pleasing complexes and feeling guilty about saying no. Turning down opportunities that will leave us feeling left out is extremely challenging. However, we must build the personal authority to be able to diplomatically decline offers, invitations, and temptations with respect and grace while addressing our responsibilities. Saying yes to opportunities that aren’t aligned with our priorities consequently puts prior commitments on the back burner which can create depression and disappointments if not completed.

It’s time we eliminate our created excuses and finger-pointing methods to justify our own lack of action towards personal fulfillment. Success is a mindset and it takes a receptive growth mindset to bring what you want into your experience at record-setting times. First, we must be willing to step outside of our comfort zone in order to maximize our full potential. I’m going to help you open up to a world of new possibilities in an effective way however the action is primarily up to you.
