A tale of two sexes

Which one do you use?

By Raymond G. TaylorPublished 12 days ago Updated 12 days ago 1 min read

Let me tell you a tale of two sexes

One male and one female

A discourse on opposites

Let me tell you a tale of two sexes

A boy and a girl

The pains of growing up and being different

Let me tell you a tale of two sexes

One LADIES and one GENTLEMEN

A treatise on toilet talismans

Let me tell you a tale of two sexes

One fucking and one being fucked

To give and to receive

Let me tell you a tale of two sexes

One on top another beneath

The positions are reversible

Let me tell you a tale of two sexes

A tale of truly fictional fabrication

Irrationalisation of humanitisation

Let me tell you another tale of sex

Mutable and ne’er a fixed mark

A spectrum of possibilities

No Mars no Venus

A presence or absence of penis

Nor pushing to the other end

Sexuality defined by personality

Gender defining without prescribing

Love and levels of being

As one together

Forever

In love

Your poem shows that labels can be limiting, but people are more complex and love goes beyond those limits. Well done!
