Calorie Counting

Diet my life is a Diet

Counting calories, what a chore,

I see that pizza, I want more!

One slice, two slices, oh what a mess,

My jeans are tighter, I must confess.

Donuts call out, “Just take a bite!”

But then I weigh in, and that’s a fright!

Salads whisper, “We’re healthy and green,”

But ranch dressing's what makes me beam!

Chocolate bars wrapped up so tight,

Stare at me with a sugary bite.

I’ll count and count, then maybe give in,

Because life is too short to not let it spin!

So here’s to the snacks, both big and small,

I’ll laugh at the numbers and just enjoy it all!
