dear full moonā
give me a chapter to wait for
an ending worth reading
and turning the page for
*
make whatās disjointed and wrong
feel right.
knit the pieces together
this bright, sacred night
*
I donāt ask for much
but I do want myself.
without that, nothing I find
seems to help
*
and waiting on signs
isnāt good for your health.
on this night, I ask you
please, make it make senseā
*
the story I've walked through
without the full picture
just praying on fate
with her grace to come through
*
cast your light on my life
and, in the glow of beginnings,
Iāll put down my arms
and give thanks for you

Nice
Oh this is beautiful and I'm not a fan of moon poetry. Well I am and I'm not lol. I loved how open and vulnerable this was, very personal sounding. Great work.
Lovely and inspiring verse. I have linked from my review here. Hope that's okay. https://exclusiveofferhub.life/writers/still-looking-for-ideas-for-your-under-a-spell-entry%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/a%3E%3C/p%3E%3C/div%3E%3C/div%3E%3C/div%3E%3Cdiv class="css-w4qknv-Replies">
All that Iverson walked through without the full picture. That line resonated so deeply with me! Loved your poem!
Last night's full moon certainly was one to drop the arms & for which to give thanks.
Definitely feeling this poem and this moon, too.
You have a true talent for writing. I must say that this was a very well-written piece that I also enjoyed a lot.š¤¦āāļøā¤š
