I Am Kaos’ Daughter

What Comes Back

Unassuming, my instruments creep:

measuring, circling,

eerie. I do apologize

for your discomfort.

I stimulate guilt.

I am potent - pungent even -

without intention

just dominance.

I seek to deaden my pervading uneasy:

Content to slink, side-step,

beg-pardon my space

while I acquire control of my craft.

Yet still, a pretty pass I do sew.

That is me: decayed virtue pitting stomachs.

I can’t help but smell.

Calculated disrupter, reigning judge.

Tasked to reciprocate wrong

I pardon no one.

Mother, so misunderstood,

commands fidelity to protocol:

Injustice must be punished

lest rot come to pass.

Poisoned feces to fertilize, that will not do.

I am the daughter of Kaos,

Karma,

I’m the one you don’t want to mess with,

that bitch.
