I cannot wait, my love,
To see the blue skies I adore,
From another city I love
That I've been to before
But without you.
I want you to feel what I feel
In a foreign land that you've never been to
But one wher I feel at home in.
I hope you can see what makes my heart smile
What makes me calm yet excited,
Quiet yet chaotic,
Happy and free.
A little part of me is scared.
That you won't love what I love.
But that won't stop me from trying,
To make you see the world
That I've tried to show you,
Through my eyes.
But this time, with your own eyes.
I'm excited, my love
To see how we bloom together
In a foreign land.
Can't wait for Japan.

Glad to hear he loved it! And I loved your poem! P.s. Japan is definitely on my list of must-see places!
