Muhammad Ali
He floated like a butterfly,
Swift and light, he’d soar and fly.
A champion in every way,
Fighting hard, he’d never sway.
With fists that hit like thunder’s roar,
He’d leave his opponents on the floor.
But strength was more than just his might,
His heart and spirit burned so bright.
“The Greatest” is what they called his name,
A legacy that lives in the hall of fame.
A hero in the ring, and outside too,
Teaching us all what courage can do.
With a smile that could light the darkest night,
And words that inspired, igniting the fight.
He danced through the chaos with grace and flair,
A voice for the voiceless, he showed that he cared.
In battles beyond the ropes, he took a stand,
For justice and peace, he extended his hand.
A warrior, a poet, a beacon of hope,
His spirit lives on; we continue to cope.
So here’s to Ali, a legend so grand,
With courage and love, he took a bold stand.
In the annals of time, his story will thrive,
For he taught us all how to truly live alive.

I've been writing poetry since the age of 10. With pen in hand, I wander the realms unseen. The pen holds power; ink reveals thoughts. A poet may speak truth or weave a tale. You decide. Let pen and ink capture you ❤️#Marie381UkWrites

I'm not a boxing fan, but I liked this ode to the great boxer.
