New Beginnings
An ode to my new life
The sun has risen on a new day. Life will go a new way.
Morning light has won my heart over and it’s okay to start over.
The broken pieces of yesterday don’t need to be puzzled back together.
My heart is coming back together.
I’ve reached a fork in the road with my old life.
The future is the only right direction. The past equals no life.
I’m starting to pray more and being fair to myself.
Eating right and exercising. Taking better care of myself.
More goal oriented in my day’s newest livings.
Cheers to better days. I’ve made it to a new beginning.
