When we do this,
we will have control of our lives,
as well as of our minds,
emotions and bodies.
This “practice”
will reshape ‘us’.
It will reform our interactions with others,
improving our relationships.
It will add
to our overall
well-being in life.
Ancient philosophers emphasized
the importance of ‘mastering’
and keeping control
of our own minds
and especially
our own thoughts.
Learning to do this,
every single day,
will strengthen our minds
so that when challenges do come along,
we will see them
as opportunities and stay calm.
Our lives will improve.
