Save Our Planet
Mother Earth is crying for we’re killing our planet

Save Our Planet
The seas are rising, the forests fall,
A silent cry, a desperate call.
The air grows thick, the skies turn gray,
Our planet pleads, “Don’t look away.”
The rivers murmur, “We are not free,”
Choked by waste that we can’t see.
The animals vanish, one by one,
Their battles lost before they’ve begun.
But hope can bloom, and hearts can change,
Our future’s course, we can rearrange.
Small steps unite, and hands can mend,
A broken world we must defend.
Plant a tree, let kindness flow,
Protect the earth and let it grow.
For every breath, for every view,
Save our planet—it depends on you.

I've been writing poetry since the age of 10. With pen in hand, I wander the realms unseen. The pen holds power; ink reveals thoughts. A poet may speak truth or weave a tale. You decide. Let pen and ink capture you ❤️#Marie381UkWrites

Good job and totally agree with you and the poem. It is disheartening though for when I belonged to an ecology club, and we cleaned up roadsides and seeing a car coming down the road throwing their trash out the window. Great job on the poem.
