Sorrow
One wrong choice and the damage is done

Sorrow
Is sorrow like a dying bird,
Or regrets from love lost long ago?
Is sorrow tears that fell like rain,
Rolling down a window pane?
Maybe sorrows like the word remorse,
As actions slip off the planned course.
Whatever it’s like, I know it’s so real,
Like my wrong choice when I changed the course.
I had you here in my arms each night,
Then let you go for it did not seem right.
Too late I realized this love I lost,
Now in sorrow, I count the cost.
Sorrow I know is one big mistake,
A gamble I didn’t mean to take.
I pushed you back into her arms once more,
On our love, the price was you closed the door.
