A church and a bar,
an ivory dress and a white t-shirt.
Lightning struck twice,
engraving them in me,
the one who always returns
and the one who never left.
Thereβs room in my heart for both of them,
Neither love is ordinary,
nor is my need.

Aww! So little words, but they had such an impact!
Harper Lewis, that line βthe one who always returns and the one who never leftβ really stuck with meβI kept rereading it because it feels like two completely different kinds of gravity pulling on the same heart, and I canβt decide which one would be harder to let go of. It made me think about how we donβt always outgrow one love before another arrives, even if weβre told thatβs how itβs supposed to work. Do you feel like these two loves exist peacefully together for you, or is there always a quiet tension between them?
Mysterious and emotionally enticing. Very nicely done.
I like this great for the challenge Harper ππ

Wow! Just wow. In so few words, a multitude of meaning. Crafted perfectly, Harper..
