St. George’s Day March 2nd

The dragon’s shadow long has passed,

A tale of courage, bold and vast.

A knight in white, with crimson cross,

Who fought for right, despite the cost.

The fields of England bloom anew,

Red roses kissed by morning dew.

The banners rise, the trumpets play,

To mark this brave, triumphant day.

Not just of swords and battles won,

But of a spirit like the sun,

A flame burned through darkest fight,

For honor, truth, and story of light.

lift your voice, let echoes ring,

Of dragon-slayers and the spring.

St. George’s name, both proud and bright,

A symbol still of strength and might.
