It's such a beautiful day to have a fling

Spring is such a beautiful time of year!
Probably a favorite thing was to cook bacon
Really nice to put his bike up in the air
In time to change the oil for the year.
Nice time to take a ride. It was 50-something.
Got my bike out, and it is ready to go!

Spring and Riding
I can ride, as long
as I can lift my leg up,
and hold the bike up
~~
I'm told I may need to downsize
I will when hubby does, as he
is four years older than me, you realize.
Spring is a great time for me
~
I love my sweetie pie
He will call me SP,
He is my guy
And I call him my honey bee
~
He will tell others SP means
slow poke! I know he really
means sweetie pie, it seems
he is a funny one, too silly
~
Time to go and have a fling
With my honey, SP, this first day of spring

GRANDMA NELSON
Daddy pulled off the interstate, and I saw the all familiar red barn, and I knew we had arrived at Grandma Nelson's farm. I always had mixed feelings about seeing my Grandmother. It seemed she had as many Grandchildren as the old Mother in the shoe nursery rhyme. I saw her as different, but that is not why I hestiated. The truth be known I always got in trouble at her house, and ended up sitting in the car after I had been scolded.
