The Tarot Reader
Past Present and future

The Tarot Reader
The cards were dealt, the mystic stared,
A shiver ran, he wasn’t prepared.
She saw his past, his heart laid bare,
A life once full, now lost in air.
His present hung, a thread so thin,
A restless mind, unsure within.
The future called, a path alone,
No hand to hold, no heart to own.
The mystic’s voice was soft and clear,
“Your way is set, but full of fear.”
The cards had spoken, truth so raw,
A lonely road, with no reprieve or flaw.
A life to walk, a road unknown,
A path alone, he’d walk alone.
The road no nowhere your futures sown
Change your ways or be all alone

I've been writing poetry since the age of 10. With pen in hand, I wander the realms unseen. The pen holds power; ink reveals thoughts. A poet may speak truth or weave a tale. You decide. Let pen and ink capture you ❤️#Marie381UkWrites
