To the Queen of Hearts
Her one wish is every one’s desire

To the Queen of Hearts
She stands adorned in crimson grace,
a womans threat, a shadowed trace.
Crowned in fire, veiled in lace,
with eyes that dare, with lips that chase.
The cards obey her silent call,
diamonds gleam, the spades may fall.
A lover’s fate, a gambler’s dream,
a throne of thorns, a reign supreme.
Her laughter cuts, both sharp and sweet,
a melody where danger meets.
No vow can bind, no plea can tame,
she plays the world like her own game.
Her kingdom built on whispered lies,
a lover’s hope, a dream that flies.
Yet still they kneel, yet still they yearn,
to taste her fire and feel it burn.
For in her hands, both fate and art—
no mercy lives within her heart.
Play your hand or bow and break,
for love is hers to give—or take.

Beautiful and powerful poem!
Excellent choice of words, very powerful poem! Exactly how I would imagine the queen of hearts.
I can picture the Queen of Hearts in this way. I will never look at a deck of cards in the same way again.
