Wicked people in a wicked world
Words can cut worse than a knife

Wicked people in a wicked world
Spinning chaos,
casting shadows,
promises snare,
glances cut like daggers.
They thrive on lies,
building empires
on broken trust,
masks polished,
stained by deceit.
The air hangs heavy,
but truth glimmers,
an ember waiting,
ready to ignite,
revealing strength within.
We rise, resilient,
daring to dance
in the storm,
for even in darkness,
hope finds a way,
blooming defiantly,
in hearts that remain whole.

A poem to grow on and learn how to understand. Good job.
This is deep and meaningful… A poem of rising from the ashes and returning, stronger, better. Lovely.
