Winter Squirrel
In the quiet of winter, the snow falls deep,
A little squirrel stirs from its cozy sleep.
With paws so tiny and fur so thick,
It scurries about, so quick and slick.
The trees are bare, the world is still,
But the squirrel’s busy, gathering with skill.
Acorns and berries, tucked away tight,
For chilly days and long, cold nights.
It leaps through the snow, its tail held high,
As the frosty winds swirl through the sky.
The winter may come, but it doesn’t fear,
For the squirrel’s ready with food stored near.

It's always good to save up ahead of time hehehe. Loved your poem!
Love the poem and image. I remember watching the squirrels when I lived up North for we even had a feeder for them and the birds. They are hoot to watch in the snow.
