You Broke My Rainbow
Took my colourful sky away

You Broke My Rainbow
You came with light in stormless eyes,
A whisper sweet, a veil of lies.
I built a bridge from dusk to dawn,
Believed in color, then it was gone.
Red for the fire I thought was love,
Orange for warmth I dreamed enough.
Yellow for laughter you never meant,
Green for hope—now crooked, bent.
Blue was the calm you stole from me,
Indigo drowned in your apathy.
Violet died on a sharpened word,
The last I spoke, the last you heard.
You cracked the sky and let it bleed,
Stripped my prism down to need.
Now all I see is black and grey.
You broke my rainbow.
You walked away.

A poem that will take your breath away in hopes that one will learn lessons well. Good job.
"stripped my prism down to need" wow - if that isn't every narcissist ever! This is brilliant.
A beautiful way of explaining feelings, thankyou for sharing xx
