Should I be flattered?
SOOOOOOO! I wrote this 3 (three) months ago.
And I just saw this pop up today, 12/3/2026
I am still deciding on which emotion to display here. Rage, ennui, laughter, pity or just downright ire and indifference.
Needless to say - I am ticked off.
We all need help to write our articles, we do research, ask AI to clarify some points which we don't fully grasp and sometimes use quotes from others, mostly famous people. We get ideas from the writings of others, while supporting their writing. Such ideas we conjure into our own stories.
But we do not categorically just swipe someone's story, title and all and blatantly display it as our own work for all to see.
It does not matter how - where - when or why we concocted our story...but it is in the end...ours only. Not meant to be a tool to be replicated by anyone.
AI is great with grabbing and reusing...but at least it rewords a title.
Just changing a few of the words does not make for you an authentic story.
I am far from flattered.
I am just wondering how many more I have missed.
Is this happening to others.
Vocal has enough on its hands without having to bother them with imposters.
I will not comment on this story so they can make a ha'penny off of Vocal either.
Vocal, can we have a 'cease and desist' caption to tag unto a pilfered story...or something to that effect.
This is so not funny!

Writing plans coming up
This is a quick drabble of my upcoming writing articles. First coming attractions in my opinion are a lot of book blurbs of old and new books that I have read, but not complete reviews just to create possible interest. Another idea I had was to offer in this day and age of keyboarding some typing lessons from an old typing textbook I had in high school. Also, I am planning on writing more of my Alphabet stories, as well as more of my art colorings for I just bought a new Bible coloring book. I hope you share thoughts.

Seeing that you have brought this to the attention of Vocal, I feel thay do have a responsibility to correct the matter. They do have a policy of no plaguerism and if it is copy word for word, they need to address it.
It is maddening. Stories are our babies and when they are stolen we feel violated to the core. I’m sorry this happened, Novel, and hope Vocal would take a swift action.

Did you preemptively copy his story? I suspect you may be a time traveler who traveled to today, stole the story, went back in time 3 months and published it. Seriously, they need to go now. Now I'm going to look it up to see if they broke the law.

😡 wtf This is plagiarism and that bothers me a lot. IP theft is art theft. Whether it’s a human who did that, or a bot designed by a human to do that, absolutely shameful. Sorry this happened to you, hope vocal doesn’t something to remove this behavior and the person responsible. Wow.
This is completely unacceptable! I am sorry this happened to you and I hope it is immediately taken care of. I haven't clicked, but it makes me wonder how much more they've stolen from people. Shame on them!
They'll probably give the stolen one a Top Story for initiative, but hopefully will take the thief down. So annoying
