The Major Difficulty of Manifesting

Law of Attraction is so simple it’s complicated

By Gabriel ShamesPublished 11 days ago 2 min read

For a long time, I’ve been working on affirmations and manifesting. While I’ve tried to stay positive, it’s difficult when you keep failing. You may have experienced this too.

Recently, I came across a video series called Quantum Shift, that explains how most of us are doing this wrong.

The reassuring man’s voice says that it’s not about pushing, reaching, or affirming. It’s about remembering, and then already being it.

Remembering who your higher self is and being the person who has everything they need.

Simple, right? No, definitely not.

It requires a whole shift in thinking. And most of us that were already trying manifesting, affirmations, or visualizing had already shifted our thinking to that mode.

Given our new knowledge of quantum physics, we’re seeing more and more that all possible timelines, and therefore all possible futures, are actually around “here” somewhere. Our mind isn’t built to understand it, but it’s all happening (and has happened) at the same time.

So we “just” have to access that future we want. Much, much easier said than done. When it comes to affirmations, a lot of people are working under two wrong assumptions. Even if we contend they have any value, it was never about controlling an outcome or getting the universe to align with us. It’s about getting ourselves to believe it.

So, with this new knowledge, aligning our belief is only half the battle. Really, we have to act (or not act) on that belief. How would the you that already has it behave?

So manifesting doesn’t seem like the right concept at all. As is said in the videos, it’s about collapsing the space between us and where we want to be. Don’t say words like “try” or “hope,” but rather “intention.”

Also, though, the Law of Attraction doesn’t respond to words or effort, but vibration. The vibration of striving for something still reinforces the distance between you and it.

While our cultural world rewards extra effort, the universe doesn’t. That’s why so many of these practices fail. We might get in touch with our higher self and still miss the point.

So I’ve been trying to recalibrate over the last week, but it’s exceedingly difficult to reverse in days what it took years to learn. I will keep training my mind, however. I will eventually accomplish this simplest of tasks.

I was thinking about writing an article about manifesting, then I saw yours and read it. I will eventually write mine. In the meantime, I am feasting on yours. Good details. Hopefully, you will get what you indicated in your last paragraph. Looking forward to a follow-up article when you do!
