EeeeK!
Never rains⊠it pours! Our sonâs sick and dogâs post-op Catâs neck has a tick! * Thankfully they all survived. Hudsonâs a good old dog and an excellent patient. He calmly submits to wearing old singlets â fashioned into body suits â to protect multiple abdominal wounds. It was almost the final straw to discover a tick on Miaâs ancient neck. Having long experience in dealing with ticks, we were surprisingly unsuccessful in removing it (after first âkillingâ it with eucalyptus). An unplanned trip to the vet, along with her doggy brother confirmed my daughterâs assertion. Her âtickâ was a mole in disguise.

Young Again
Rickety old cat Rockets round the yard chasing Neighboursâ prowling pet. * Inspired by our Grand Old Dame, Queen Mia. Deaf and almost blind, she spies our neighboursâ cat, Bad Luck. Instantly, her clock winds back a decade. Fleet of foot, she flies in pursuit.

Chaotic Cyclones
Unpredictable Meteorological Extravaganza. * I figure extreme weather events such cyclones, floods, blizzards, tsunamis and bushfires are extremely unpredictable and qualify as extravaganzas (a very elaborate and expensive show or performance)!

His typical stumbling and staggering along â apace with a sloth â has turned into trip-trapping, high-stepping, almost skipping along.
