International Footballer Joins Forces With StoryZoo
An international footballer has joined forces with one of the UK’s main education platforms to launch a brand-new nationwide initiative. Levi Colwill who has played for both Chelsea and England aims to reverse the decline in children’s reading engagement by teaming up with StoryZoo to launch a brand-new scheme which will look at increasing the rate at which children gain the valuable skills they need to read.

Push To Prevent Catapults Being Bought By Children
MP’s have been warned to put new legislation in place that will help to close a loophole in the law which allows people including children to legally buy weapons which is capable of killing wildlife. The alert was issued during a briefing in parliament which set out growing evidence that catapults were being misused against animals and to damage other people’s private property. The Naturewatch Foundation who hosted the session expanded on their message that at the moment there is a completely unregulated system where people of any age can buy weapons and there are no meaningful controls on sale or power.

Liverpool To Host Major Arts And Crafts Exhibition
Liverpool’s Lady Lever Art Gallery is to host a new exhibition in honour of one of the most pioneering women of the Arts and Crafts movement. May Morris who is the daughter of designer William Morris was an English artisan, embroidery designer, jeweller, socialist, and editor. The new exhibition is set to take place from the 25th April to the 1st November this year and will showcase May’s exceptional ability which was seen by many to be very advanced and ahead of it’s time.

Falling Business Investment Causes Uncertainty In Jobs Market
In the last quarter of 2025, the UK economy only grew by 0.1% amid falling business investment and staffing which has meant that consumers have been left under served and in need of drastic change to be able to receive the products and services they need in their daily lives. Increased Calls For Social Media Ban For Under 16's
There has been a growing swell of support towards making it illegal for anyone under the age of sixteen to be able to access and use social media in the UK. This comes as a result of the murder of Brianna Ghey who was killed by two of her fellow classmates at Birchwood Community High School. It is said that Ghey reportedly faced years of transphobic harassment and bullying including when she was at school a part of which was reportedly being gang beaten.

There has been a large push towards introducing a ban on social media for under 16’s with over half of those adults surveyed saying they would support new legislation being put in place to prohibit under 16’s from using such platforms. The main character in the book who is experiencing many menopausal symptoms attempts to solve a twenty-year-old murder mystery at the Panbrook Prison Hotel.

Rachel Reeves Delivers 2025 Budget
Rachel Reeves has delivered her second budget to a packed House of Commons. On what was a very chaotic day in which the majority of the measures that were being laid out had already been leaked in an OBR report, MPs from all parties gathered to listen to the Chancellor’s analysis of how the economy was doing and see what measures were being put in place to try and improve it further. There were many areas covered from personal taxation to household bills. MP’s through out the chamber had already made a list of prepared questions following the leak and were adamant to get the answers.
