A Couple Living into Their Seventies
My hubby asked me how many days have 30 days in the year. Then he said, I believe there is a saying but I can’t remember it. I told him that is what I remember too. Then he looked at the calendar and said there are 31 days in this month.

What traditions are you most thankful for and why? Rupi Kaur's Gratitude Writing Prompts 1. Enormous Gratitude for the return of religious freedom for American Indians in 1978. The same year I got into recovery. That year I could smudge, go into the sweat lodge, attend full-moon ceremony, pipe ceremony, wiping of tears ceremony, and others.

Challenge Two - Metaphor
Day #2 - Finding nouns from adjectives. Pat Pattison, Song Writing without Boundaries I am struggling with metaphors. I enjoy them but struggle with writing them and I am not finding them easy in much the same way I struggle with fiction. This is my way to attempt to get better. A Few Of My Favorite Stories
“The Eagle Story” I tell this story when working with people who have trauma, grief, and loss work to do. The many people who are giving up drugs, alcohol, sugar, overworking, gambling, etc. Those traumas have been self-medicated by using one of the above and others.

I was young, a teen but I understood clearly what that was when I met him. I was 15 when I met him and he was 21 years old. He was one of my best friends' older brother.

Fundraising As Team Carrie
Team Carrie Powwow For Hope Fundraiser Team Carrie is a family and friends gathering in honor of my sister who died from leukemia in 2010. This year one of her best friends joined us. She is honoring her brother who died of leukemia a few years ago and her sister who is fighting cancer.
