I've heard that I was born bossy- I prefer to interpret that as being a born leader. Maybe that's wishful thinking but it is true that I've always enjoyed teaching people new things and watching them use their new knowledge to succeed.

The concrete beneath my feet turns dark as the pee I can no longer hold pools under me and drips down the step, but I will not move. At seven years old, it's been a long time since I peed myself and I am ashamed, but that is a small issue.

What Did You Mean to Write?
Time has no idea that there is a calendar... or a five-day work week... or school semesters... or even 24 hours in a day. Time doesn't recognize the shortest day of the year (December 21), which is actually also the longest night of the year (of which Time cares not a whit.)
