Beijing on the North China Plain
Beijing is the huge capital city of China with a history stretching back to 3 millennials. The city sits on the North China Plain. It is known for its mix of ancient sites like the amazing Forbidden City complex and modern architecture.

Summertime on the Boardwalk
California The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk opened in 1907. This is the only remaining oceanfront amusement park on the coast. Two of its amusement rides have become National Historic Landmarks. One is the hand-carved Looff Carousel dating from 1911 and the other ride is from 1924, the wood-framed Giant Dipper roller coaster. You can enjoy saltwater taffy.

Shanghai on the Yangtze River
Shanghai is located on the central coast of China. The city sits on the southern estuary of the Yangtze River with the Huangpu River flowing through it. It is the country’s biggest city and a global financial hub. The heart of the city is the Bund, a popular waterfront promenade that is lined with colonial-era buildings. When you take a look across the Huangpu River you can see the fantastic futuristic skyline rising high into the sky in the Pudong District. The city also has many green spaces for rest and relaxation.
