The Adventures Of Leather. My Favorite Thing In The World Took A Walk Around The Globe Without Me.
With the anticipated release of Tom Cruise's new Top Gun, Maverick, I the original movie fondly. The times were much simpler and the movie really made Val Kilmer and Tom Cruise into household names. The music from the movie became popular and Take My Breathe Away was on every mixed tape a teenage boy made a girl.

Have You Ever Heard How Night Shift Shortens Your Lifespan? Whys and Hows of That Reality.
I'm now Forty-Nine years old as I write this and spent a significant portion of my life working the third shift, the night watch, or as some call it, the graveyard shift. If I add it all together it equals out to 28 years of my life was spent on the third shift. That's over half of my entire life and accounts for the biggest majority of my adult life and working career. My longest time spent on the night shift was as a shift Sargent with a correctional facility. Reading about shift work and studies on how our careers and professions affect our lives I've found many studies suggesting that working the night shift may be shorting our lives, for varied reasons.

Hollywoods Changing A Lot About Some Of Its Most Iconic Characters. Is Hollywood Becoming More Representative Of America In A Changing Culture Or Has A New Generation Of Talented Actors and Actresses Just Stepped Up Their Games?
Marvel Fans have now felt the change in Hollywood as the torch officially was passed to Anthony Mackie to carry the shield and the iconic role of Captain America. There's absolutely no doubt in my mind that this is an exciting time for fans of the MCU and all things Marvel. Falcon was an incredible character and adding Anthony Mackie to the mix during Captain America and the Winter Soldier was a well-timed addition of one of our newest and beloved action heroes. For some, however, this will pose questions that even Captain America struggled with at the end of the Falcon and the Winter Soldier. While I personally didn't care for the overly politicized monologue that the directors and writers added into the end of the series, the questions Sam had about being black and being Captain America, it does reopen discussions about Hollywood and its' representation of the races of its' ticket-buying fans.

Forget UFOs Or UAPs! Aliens Have Been Right In Front Of Us For Years. We Just Didn't Know It. Now, we may know why!
Outerspace, aliens, and UFOs have found their way back into the hearts and minds of America and the world as the Pentagon has publicly admitted its' inability to identify the pyramid-like objects that have been recorded by United States Naval Aviators as well as others. While everybody is anxiously awaiting the news from the widely coveted and most likely sensational report to congress, some have gone out of their way to look for answers themselves. But, have they been successful? Former President Donald Trump certainly had his opinions and this to say!

Humanities 30,000 Years Of Pillaging The Earths' Resources Could Be Humanities Downfall
I was just a young preteen the year I realized that people were trashing the very planet we depend on for our existence. Like most kids, teachers tried to instill a sense of responsibility for our world in me during science classes. We learned about the dangers of fossil fuels, the depleting ozone layer, and the importance of cutting down the carbon footprint being left by one generation for another to have to suffer. At twelve, the thing that bothered me the most would be the danger to the oceans and sea life. Even today, I remember the moment I got the bigger picture, watching a movie that presented the facts about whales and whale hunting.

The Last Voyage of The Mystic Queen. Mysteries of The Pacific.
Alexandria waited on the shore every night for a week, always staying until sundown, and always returning home saddened, and quiet. The normally boisterous sixteen-year-old would barely eat some nights, alarming her parents, and leaving her brothers and sisters to think she was some kind of a freak. She waited, there on the shore, for one reason. Every night, she hoped and prayed, to see a ship appear on the horizon. She was looking for the return of the Mystic Queen.

Can Two Little Words Help Improve Relationships, Self Esteem, Depression, High Blood Pressure, Overall Health, and Overall Happiness? We'll Find Out!
In my last piece, entitled Two Little Words, I ventured into an area that is known for making people blush. I delved into the importance of those two words and why those two little words have such a profound impact on our lives. I followed that up with one on the changing laws in our society and how nudity is becoming a more widely accepted practice in America's changing landscape. Today I'm going to delve into the benefits of the words Get Naked and discuss the physical, mental, and emotional health benefits from what should be America's favorite pastime.

Passing 4,000 Reads, What to Do Next?
So you reached a benchmark. Was it 500 reads, 1000 reads, 2500 reads? Was it getting a top story spot or even winning a challenge? Either way, you reached it. Now what? What is there to do? It's almost impossible to tell, at least in my case. So you think about what to write next and wonder, based on the experience that you've had, what might be popularly read and what won't be? At the end of the day, are you writing for yourself or are you writing because you hope to be a writer, make an extra income, enjoy writing, and sharing it with people? It's going to be a different answer for most people that might read this but I imagine those are the questions we've all had at some point. What do we want out of what's possible?

How To Hit Big On Casino Slots
With the overall expansion of gaming in most states, the reality of wins versus losses has become a reality of everyday life. Long gone are the days you would have to travel across the country to one of the resort and vacation towns to do your gambling. Most cities in the country have adopted some sort of gaming regulation in the hopes of finding their way to the taxes and revenue that come from the world of gambling. Just like those cities, hundreds of people a day flock to the local gaming lounges, bars, and casinos hoping for that to be their lucky day. But, was it? The reality of gambling is that the house is always favored to win. That's just simple business when it comes to the gaming industry.
