80s music
The 80s were chockful of New Wave power ballads, synthesizers, drum machines, and no shortage of Madonna and Michael Jackson.
A Edible Playlist
Introduction My last playlist was based on anatomy and is linked at the end of this piece. During one of the songs, “Arms of Mary” by The Sutherland Brothers and Quiver I recalled that my favourite song by the Sutherland Brothers was “The Pie” and that might be a good pretext for another playlist. The fact that one of my friends told me that they keep discovering new music to listen to from these playlists inspired me to create this one.

An Anatomical Playlist
The Intro I was listening to some songs and "Magic Man" by Heart came on, and I thought that could be an interesting theme for a playlist, parts of the body either in the song title or the band name. I will probably miss a lot but I am just going to dive in and see where this takes me.

When Manuela Hosted a Goodbye to Prince at The Roxy
Remembering when Prince passed away, most of his fans would think it was the darkest day in their lives. Soon, gatherings at Paisley Park (his home/studio in Chanhasen Mn), and "First Avenue" (the place where most of the concert scenes in his debut film, Purple Rain" were shot), began to pop up suddenly and without fanfare. Soon other Prince-related venues began to have pop up gatherings to talk about, mourn and remember the artist.

5 Songs #1
CIRCUMVENTED FORWARD: WORDS OF CAUTION I would prefer you hear these on your own first, by way of their respective albums. But if you would like to just listen to the track itself, that is your choice, and that is fine. Either way, I believe these are very powerful tracks, and further proof of how truly meritless the charts and commercialism are. NOTE: I have only heard "Situations" and "Only The Lonely" as songs, not the albums yet. But I will make a point to, I promise you. And me.

Some Electric Light Orchestra Favourites
Introduction I know a lot of people will disagree with me because I won’t include “Mr Blue Sky” which I find trite, boring and overplayed, but I will tell you a little about how the band were formed and the original idea behind it.

A Conventional Playlist - Reggae Stylee
Introduction I just shared a story about alternative Elvis Presley experiences which you can check out at the end of this story, but one of thesongs I featured in that piece was Dead Zeppelin's cover of Led Zeppelin's "Your Time Is Gonna Come" featuring Tortelvis on vocals in a really fun video, and thought why not create a playlist with a theme of mainstreamish songs done reggae style. So even though they are not Jamaican Reggae we will kick of with Dread Zeppelin.
