When I listen to a song, I usually listen to it as a stand alone and have never really bothered listening to the album of which it came from. Even when I do listen to an album, it usually consists of me jumping from song to song, never fully listening to and truly appreciating the album for all its worth. I know. I know. Shame on me. 😅

Here is a list of songs I have been listening to for a few weeks now. So, theses songs are stuck in my head. I love and hate when song lyrics randomly pop up in my head. During school work and start randomly humming the melody. Sometimes songs inspire me to write poetry. Anyways, this list is not in any particular order, just songs I like. I have tried to keep up with what is on the charts, but I am not as devoted to the top-forty hits as I once was. As much as I like the noises of Billie, Dua, Taylor and Queen Bee, I still find myself going back to the other side of the equation, meaning the ones who should be bigger. You like Beyonce? I go for Janelle Monae. Taylor Swift? Give me St. Vincent. And Billie Eilish may be hard to categorize, but Bjork got there first. So, pop music will go on, but I want a little bit more.
