Fractured Dreams Make the World Turn
Sad as it may be, the under-privileged are the back-bone of society, the world keeps spinning because of them. The choice of chasing one’s dream is for those that exist with privilege or people who are driven to forge their own path regardless of the consequences. Unfortunately, the underprivileged need to care about the consequences to survive not to talk of even thrive. Which is why I find this topic of success and hard work to be tone deaf sometimes. Don’t get me wrong, I believe that anyone from any social background can attain society’s definition of success but the question lies in the fairness of the game. What are the odds that other players would need to conquer?
