This sort of sucks because I left my computer alone last night and apparently it had a update so all my writing that I didn't save is now gone.

I was gushing about an overhaul in my organization skills/tools and that I am like SUPER productive now. The other changes I mentioned in the blog before were just "adjustments", this was a complete overworking and introduction a new function of my scratch paper as "Paper Projects".

Basically when a task is so difficult as to need subtasks, I utilize the back of the TODOs to do this, this is a Paper Project. I keep track of them with my Top Priorities on my TODOs which means I can only handle 6 papers per day. Also for the fact that they are literally on the back of completed TODOs there is a limited of how many I can make so, I can get obsessive or overwhelm myself in anyway.

I put all the Project Papers in my paper cubby I got from Homegoods, and can take them out and put them away as I see fit. I just keep working on them until I complete them or push them on to the next day/available slot.

I did used to have like a workbook I had for Projects but, it felt very remove d from my TODOs and it was like, " Only if I have time. " but Project Papers feel more integrated with my current system and I can work on them alongside my TODOs ( there is literally 6 slots on my TODOs representing them ).

Today's Project Papers:

  • Food Box
  • Laundry
  • Vocal
  • Healthy Wage
  • PSW
  • Paperwork

Food box required me doing a lot of research of nearby places and calling people, plus sort of coordinating rides for that.

Laundry, well I neglected it for so long, it kind of got too big so it sort of required its own Project Paper to complete.

Vocal was only necessary because I recently hired someone to go through my titles to tell me if there were any duplicate titles so I could change them, basically an Editor.

Healthy Wage is because, I have kind of considered doing that because:

  1. I want to lose weight ( I am currently 190, I lost 20 lbs ) but I would like to get down to 150 ideally.
  2. I can actually get paid for losing weight so, it is a good idea if I take it seriously. Basically killing two birds with one stone.

PSW because I had to call a bunch of agencies and explain my need for a replacement person and coordinate appointments and start rapports/correspondences with people.

Paperwork is kind of like.. all those adult things we need to do, like housing paperwork, legal paperwork, need to apply for energy programs, and manage my budge planner and such. This one will probably take several Project Papers and days to complete but at least it feels doable now that I have turned it into bite sized chunks.

Anyway, like I said, I was very productive and finally feel like I am not operating under just quotas, but an efficient way to even excel.

I am sure I am annoying my neighbors with my timer but, it only beeps a little after 99 minutes so, it isn't like every second. Either way, I don't care.. I don't need to feel bad about doing what is good for me.

I also didn't mention this before, or it is way deep in my blog, but I also use Habatica.

The habits section is just there for when I am depressed and resting in the bed/couch and need help getting up or processing certain emotions.

My Dailies are like a Wishlist of things I want to buy in the future, but don't necessarily need ( My TODOs chart more of the necessities ).

Finally, my To Do list on there just keeps all the recipes on there and things I can possibly eat.
