Best Apps for Learning How to Cook
As a former professional food critic, I can tell you that not everyone is born with natural cooking skills. In fact, even the greatest celebrity chefs had to learn how to cook at one point or another—and at times, may have even had their own stumbling blocks.

Simply Samantha: Crock-pot Country Style Steak With Bacon Gravy
Hey guys! Welcome to Simply Samantha, where the cooking is simple, and the results are oh so satisfying! When I moved in with my (now) husband, there were very few things that I knew how to make. I knew simple things like eggs, French toast, spaghetti sauce from a can, and hot dogs. So, after he got tired of the same things back to back, I had to figured out how to get creative! I remember my mother-in-law making country style steak when I would go over there after church on Sundays. She gave me a simple run down of it. I thought, "Okay, that’s easy enough," but then I realized it was more than just searing a piece of steak. I had never made gravy; I didn’t have any idea how to make the gravy. All that I knew was milk and flour; that’s all I could think.

Meat Is Murder
"Meat is murder!" I would hear my obnoxious coworker yell. Kelsi was her name. Kelsi, a 5'4" brown haired girl with perfect straight across bangs, so sweet and caring, yet could snap your neck in a blink of an eye. Obnoxious is probably an understatement; she'll shout out random noises at you as she passes, her hiccups sound like a dog is barking, and she'll probably speak to you in Korean at some point, which she taught herself. She's most definitely an introvert but isn't afraid to voice her craziness or opinions.

Are Ramen Noodles Bad for You?
We've all done it. College looming over our heads and food costs going up the budget and then getting rid of healthier options for the lovable snack called Ramen Noodles. But are these wonderful, vegan, cheap foods bad for you? I've been a fan of them my whole life but for the past 5 years I haven't consumed a single pack of these pre-processed noodles. But here's a look into what evidence is available and what the science says. Myth and fact will be debunked here and this will be my approach to the article. I will give you 5 major reasons why I left, and I think you should think over it too.

With so many amazing restaurants to choose from in Walt Disney World, it can be hard choosing the right ones, especially when you are traveling with young kids and on a budget. However, fear not! Becoming a Queen (or King!) of Leftovers
Souper Douper <3 Hello! I’m Natalie, founder of Fairypants cosmetics, and I am you. Queen of Leftovers came about after I moved in with my then-boyfriend. We spent lots of time redesigning our house so it was perfect. We both worked full time, and managed to squeeze in time with our friends and family. However, I also decided I wanted to be the perfect housewife. I’m not so good at the whole cleaning thing, so for me it was more about my love of food, and wanting to keep exploring and building on my knowledge.

Fettuccine Alfredo
I like to think of fettuccine Alfredo as the broke-girl’s boujee Italian dish. The sauce is based solely on heavy cream and parmesan, and the add-ins are very affordable (especially if you keep it vegetarian). Your cardiologist might experience heart flutters at the sight of the fat content in heavy cream, but I keep things a little lower in fat by cutting the recipe with half & half. The end result is a creamy sauce that still coats the noodles without sacrificing any flavor.

The Anatomy of a Perfect Sandwich
We all know the familiar sound of our stomachs throwing a hissy fit. Somewhere between breakfast and lunch, it starts—hunger pangs, those painful cries in the pit of your stomach take over your brain and all you can think about is food.
