astronomy
Celestial objects and the phenomena that surrounds them. What lies above the earth forever out of reach. From moons, to stars, galaxies, and beyond.
Oh, Little Virgo
I have quite an attachment to the stars. My Bachelor’s degree reads “Astrophysics.” I fell in love with the Cosmos, all that there ever was, and all that there ever will be, the first moment I heard Carl Sagan’s voice proclaim: “we are made of starstuff.”

Capricorns as it is written in the stars
As I, Emmanuel Motelin, write to you presently, I know that many of my friends and fans might be familiar with my traits and idiosyncrasies. You are gracious enough to not treat me rudely to me on the occasions when you contact me. Thank you very much for that.

THE SIGNS THAT SURROUND US
We are each born on different dates at different times. Our birth dates help to separate us into more groups. The groups do not mean anything wrong. My sign is a Virgo, known for being loyal, and the element is Earth. The definition for a Virgo here where I live does not mean it will be the same in another country. My father is a Leo, and my mother was an Aries. Each person gets put into a group, assuming that everything stated in tiny writing is what that person is. The truth is that we are honestly not all just one sign.

Stars
I never really cared what my zodiac sign was before today. I didn’t think they had much use apart from looking up your daily horoscope or as a response to a pickup line from the 70’s. And I’m still not convinced that my birth date has that much to do with my personality or who I should date. But the journey was more interesting than I imagined.

Moon Maiden Mystique
I think it’s best to start with the most obvious trait that Cancerians are universally known for, which is moodiness. Because we feel everything so intensely we can quickly jump from one end of the emotional spectrum to the other. Due to Cancer’s connection with the moon many of us tend to wax and wane with the phases of the moon.

To Be Without Libra
For twenty-eight years I have related with this brilliant sign. I would say that I am strongly into Astrology. I’m the one with damn near every Astrology app there is on my phone. I also Google my daily horoscope at 11pm every night. I choose that specific time so that I won’t go throughout my entire day looking for what I’ve previously read. And may I add that they are never far off or wrong! Libra has so many traits and I relate to them all. The good, the bad, and the ugly!

A Truly Scientific Investigation into Astrology
Astrology is a bit like marmite; some people love it, some people hate it. It is a subject which tends to garner strong opinions of those who follow it and those who don’t, with critics claiming that there is no way that the billions of people currently alive cannot all have the same 12 personality types. And I mean, surely they are right? I am a Sagittarius, born on the 27th November, probably at the same time as thousands of other people - is our identical fate already written in the stars?

It's Time to Go 'Full Centaur' . Third Place in In the Stars Challenge.
If you had asked me two years ago, I would've said that I was ambivalent about spiritual matters. I wouldn't have classed myself as an unbeliever; I simply would've said I hadn't been fully convinced yet. Part of me would have gladly accepted the existence of fairies, sprites, and any other number of non-corporeal entities. (To be honest, I would have been pretty excited about any of that - I mean, how cool would just one of those be?)
