The cloud Couple
Part #1 - June 1st, 2021 - Somewhere in the skies outside of LA. Hundreds of cycles ago, the Great Kingdom was born. cycles ago, my great-grandmother began ruling. She was 13. (Yeah, that's how we work here.) Anyways, a fellowship of Elves fancied our Kingdom. We told them no, so they did something Elves tend to do and proclaimed war upon our people. The fighting persisted until my mother was 13, and able to rule. At that point, enough was enough, and so my mother set out to conclude the war. After doing some searching, my mother came across The Lord of the Skies. She had heard about his tremendous endowments, and so she urged him to come and end the war. He accepted but at a price. As the Lord wasn't exactly evil, he would only assist those who meant good, but he was also quite crooked, and so was the price that he demanded. The Lord desired my mothers' firstborn child if God willed her to have one. He desired the child so that he could use its eyes, as he had none. My mother tearfully accepted, for the comfort of her Kingdom was more important than the happiness of herself. So, The Lord of the Skies progressed to end the war and cast out the disastrous Elves.

Conflict
──────────────── ⋆ "So... it really is you." ──────────────── ⋆ His eyes were so far away. It was almost as if he couldn't see her, even though he was right in front of her. The young woman's heart pounding in her chest betrayed her. Deep down, even though she knew that he was the enemy she couldn't stop the ache that had started spreading within her heart.

A Very Short Story
The river Crune was a major trade route for the kingdom of Slairne, its winding path and tributaries connecting many small towns and allowing the northern and southern provinces of the country to trade with each other across the treacherous Dragon Spine mountain range that split the country in two. The bustling town of Fraining was on a thickly forested island in the middle of the Crune's wide delta on the southern coast of Slairne, a port of call for ships from the countries around the wide, eel-filled Sea of Coils that spread across the southern flank of Slairne.

The ghosts behind my eyes
It started long ago, one of my earliest memories I would see them. For years, I felt filled with fear at the sight of them. There was something real yet unreal about the way they stood there. Sometimes, they would replay scenes over and over again, and other times, they would stand there, staring into space unmoving. They were lost in this forever space between the land of the living and the land of the dead.

Booked
Horace slunk down the alley and escaped the night's brutal wind that blasted off of the frigid Hudson River. The narrow lane reeked of garbage and filth that years failed to wash away. He had much in common with the alleys that hid from the main streets of the city.

When Darkness Falls
As she wondered through the house lighting candles and begging for blessings, she was determined not to let doubt creep in. She needed this to work. She needed to be free. Held captive by her own mind, she needed this. As she passed the mirror in the hall in all its shattered glory, she gazed at herself in her floor length, sheer light blue gown with such awe in her eyes. She couldn't believe how beautiful she looked. A perfect image for a perfect ritual. It started to grow dark and she could feel her mind unleashing the demon she was hoping to lose tonight.

Monster Zoo / Water Trouble
A bright flash of light illuminated the dark tiles under his feet as Kieran jumped back through the portal into his diner kitchen. He walked over to the cauldrons bubbling over the fires in the corner and took a deep breath of the steam coming off the tops.
