Mirror Mirror
7/12/2083 I have seen Mackalya in my dreams again. Each night it becomes more and more real; her powers strengthening from my agonizing fear. Since the year '79, she has been working her way into my head to take over my thoughts and control me. I swear that I have seen her in person a few times, but it has to be impossible, as she is not real.

Out of Time (1)
Curiosity led my eyes to wander the classroom, glancing at the watches on everyone's right wrist. From a distance, it was difficult to make out the grey, digital numbers on the little metal slits wrapped on. Though it was difficult, it was easy to make out a certain number. Zero. All the timers I could see had many zeros on them, meaning their journeys were to come to an end and the clocks would unlatch themselves forever. I looked back to my own watch and winced as if the numbers were a knife to the chest.

Resolution
I post many of my thoughts in areas that mean a lot to me. Areas where, yes, my thoughts will be heard with at least...compassion. I do not know all the answers. I likely never will. I am not a highly educated person, but I am a moderately educated person who has a good grasp of morality. My thoughts and principals were formed in many, many ways from the classic science fiction I read as a teen. No, I will not be able to quote wise philosophers without research. I am okay with this. I feel we have gotten here based on those things...we need a new perspective on our world to survive. Perhaps the answers lie not in philosophy, or anything we acknowledge as valid, but in the realms of what our society thinks is fantasy. This will be my attempt to explain.

A Dinner Party
They gathered, as they did every third Thursday, around the long table. A mixed bunch, the one thing they had in common was that they were the movers, the shakers, the society people. It was Stan's turn to host, his turn to come up with something new. A lot of pressure given the group. After three hundred years it was a challenge to do something novel, to shock.
