The Miracle of NLP Techniques
NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) is a branch of psychology that studies the inner workings of the human mind. How we think, how we form our interests, ambitions, and fears, and how we motivate ourselves, make connections, and give meaning to our experiences are all factors that affect how we think.

What 7UP was REALLY Meant for is Shocking!
The famous and popular soda currently named 7UP was created 2 weeks before the Wall Street crash of 1929. The insane fact about the soda which was then called “Bib- Label Lithiated Lemon Lime soda” is that one of its 7 ingredients was lithium. In 1948 its name was shortened to just 7UP. The manufacturers marketed it as a mood stabilizing drink. It was actually patented as a mood stabilizing medicine product. Crazy I know but the story and origin gets more unbelievable.

Laughing Out Loud
You know that thing your parents threatened you with as a kid? Running away squealing at the sight of those wiggling fingers when you refused to clean up your toys or do some other mundane task our young, imaginative toddler minds dismissed. Maybe the only reason was to get you to squeal and run away, enticing a fun game of chase.

The Key to Reaching Television Nirvana
I know this may be hard for you to believe, but I, a writer, have a problem finishing things. It has plagued my life from an early age. When I first started writing stories I would conjure these huge, fantastical worlds, spread over page upon page of scrawl, displaying imagination far beyond my single figure age…until the ending. Looking back, I don’t know how much I was affected by 80’s popular culture, but every story I wrote, no matter how complex or involved, ended in the same variation of ‘Then they woke up and it was all a dream.’

Jumping in & out of a Lucid Dream
Have you ever experienced the wind in your hair as you sail on a yacht through the Caribbean Sea? Sun beating down upon you as you glide through the calm waters, the top sail is taut & the rigging is holding, all is well until you realize you’ve been sailing in a circle. It’s only made worse when you see the Flying Dutchman quickly approaching your yacht – oh wait, it’s an inflatable rubber dingy now and your oar is the length of a school ruler. It’s only made worse when your pet dog has jumped off & is swimming towards a pink fin, b-lining it straight towards you. You paddle madly only to find that you are moving nowhere, stuck in a gravitational pull which confuses & frightens you at the same time. The answer – you are dreaming, well actually, you were as you’ve awoken to a sweaty-brow with all the bed sheets on the other side of the bed.

Things Kids Say: Myth vs Fact
I got completely stuck on, “Who decides what is Common and Uncommon knowledge”? Some of the submissions I have read I thought... “EVERYONE knew that”... some I had NO IDEA what they were talking about...so I was having trouble coming up with what I deemed “Uncommon Knowledge”.

Check Out these 10 Weird Products I Found on Amazon!
People buy millions of different items from Amazon.com. It really is as if the company has any kind of product that you can imagine. With that in mind, I began to wonder what the weirdest items I could find might be. It didn’t take long for me to find a treasure trove of the bizarre and fantastically tacky items one might find on the world’s largest online shopping marketplace.

10 British Phrases That Most Americans Will Not Understand. Top Story - March 2021.
I live in the state of New York and have spent most of my life living in the United States; however, I am originally from England. I was born on a US military base in the United Kingdom making me a dual citizen. My mother is British and my father, an American who she met when he was stationed overseas. I clearly remember being three years old when my father got out of the service moving us from the State of Virginia to settle in his home state of Massachusetts.
