According to her family Lucy had been diagnosed with arteriovenous malformation a rare and potentially life threatening condition in which a tangle of blood vessels in the brain disrupts normal blood flow. AVMs often go undetected until they cause symptoms such as headaches seizures or bleeding in the brain which tragically is what led to Lucy’s passing.
