Victor Frankenstein's Monster Comes Alive in This Stunning Poster Created by Ciara McAvoy!
A few months ago, I had the pleasure of interviewing one of Hollywood's celebrated Scottish poster artists. Ciara McAvoy is known for her detailed work of oil in canvas, and has won numerous awards for the poster she did for X-Men: First Class and Filth. (Although most of her work features James McAvoy, the two don't share immediate familial relation.)

Take One, Pass It On
"Holden House," the large brass sign falling off of a steel post sat at the intersection between Cross Road and Parliament Street, its winding driveway leading down to what you could once imagine was a stately manor, was left by the hands of time to rot away to nothing more than a few solid boards and broken windows. If it weren't for the general interest it piqued with its numerous stories, the town would have condemned it long ago. It was nothing to say that among the few tourist shops and convenience stores, the town of Leader Valley didn't have much going for it, if anything at all. The people were nice—quiet, one would assume; mostly kept to themselves but still managed to be in on everyone's business. "The know" was something few people were out of, like any small town. That was what kept the legends of the Holden House alive.

The Skull Man: Part 5
HAZEL Did they know she was starting to enjoy hearing them suffer? She'd been the caged animal for so long and now that he had finally let her out of that cramped metal box, the scorching rage she felt inside was begging her to kill whatever she laid eyes on.

Philippine Horror Movies and the Spine-Chilling Legends Behind Them
I'm not a horror fan. In fact, I'm almost as skeptical as the next person when it comes to believing things that we can't see with our own eyes, or perhaps can't feel at a distance. However, we cannot ridicule people who do see or feel these spine-chilling phenomenons.

Black Magic
You know that moment when you're in middle school and your trying to fit in and you experiment with certain things? Well, my experiment was black magic. I know, your probably wondering... why black magic? You see, I was an outcast at school. I didn't fit into any of the cliques that there was, so I was trying to find a way to fit in. That's when I had come across this website with a bunch of different spells, or rituals if you would prefer, for almost everything you could think of. I honestly just thought it was a hoax , but then I tried a few of them.

Movie Review: 'Insidious: The Last Key'
I’ve finally figured out why I love the 'Insidious' franchise so much. It’s not that the franchise is all that better than most modern horror films, it still has the clumsiness and exposition laden dialogue and awkward humor that mark most low budget horror of the era. But, what 'Insidious' has over other modern horror movies is great characters. Genuinely likable, funny, and strong characters that we can really root for, especially Lyn Shaye’s brilliant Elise Rainier.

4 Reasons Why Victor Frankenstein Could Be One of the Best Frankenstein-Inspired Adaptations Yet
Frankenstein or the Modern Prometheus by Mary Shelley can be considered a pioneer for many things. Classic horror, exploring how obsession, technological leaps and a brilliant mind could also lead to insanity and fear. At least that's how I interpret it.
