'Chucky' May Have Changed When 'Cult of Chucky' Takes Place
When it comes to continuity, the Child's Play franchise under Don Mancini (I'm not counting the remake MGM did without him) has done a much better job than other iconic horror franchises. Each Psycho sequel felt like it retconned the previous one. We've seen how The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Halloween franchises have retconned or flat out wiped away previous entries on more than one occasion, at times wanting to only acknowledge the original film as canon. And we've seen how Friday the 13th and A Nightmare on Elm Street have gotten reboots that got no sequels and felt like dead ends. While Hellraiser has yet to be rebooted, there's not much continuity between each entry, which can feel pretty standalone. After over 30 years, the story of the original Chucky is still going strong, pushing the story forward without wiping away previous entries.

Hamish Linklater Is The Biggest of Many Reasons to Watch "Midnight Mass"
My wife came home from work one day and immediately said we need to watch the new Netflix show "Midnight Mass." Apparently, two of her patients came in and suggested the show talking about the crazy premise and break-neck pace. We turned it on and were hooked automatically.

The Walking Dead: 6 Most Heartwarming Reunion Scenes
In the apocalyptic world of The Walking Dead, it is common for our group of heroes to become separated from each other for various reasons, be it zombie hordes, the fall of a community, a group member being taken hostage by the enemy, or many more. However, these separations can sometimes lead to heartwarming reunions, as was the case in episode 11x06, 'On The Inside', in which sisters Connie and Kelly are reunited after a long separation.

The Walking Dead: 4 Times Other Groups Have Tried To Recruit Daryl Dixon
'Rendition', The fourth episode of The Walking Dead's eleventh and final season, provided a dramatic twist in our heroes' conflict with The Reapers, with the reveal that Leah, Daryl's love interest first introduced in a season 10 bonus episode, is a member of the antagonistic group. Daryl is captured, but after playing down his connection to Maggie, a good word from Leah, and undergoing a 'Baptism by fire' ritual, Daryl endears himself to Pope, the leader of the group. 'The Walking Dead': Five Characters Who Could Take Rick Grimes's Role In The Commonwealth Story Arc
WARNING: SPOILERS for the ending of The Walking Dead comics, and possbly the show. The Walking Dead's double-length final season is off to an interesting start. Currently, the show appears to be split into two major plotlines: The TV-exclusive battle against the Reapers, a brutal, militaristic group who slaughtered many of the residents of Maggie's last community, and the story of the Commonwealth, a well equipped community running on a rigid class system that forms the centre of the comic book's final story arc.

The Walking Dead's Latest Death Bears An Eeerie Resemblance To Another Character's Grisly End.. And Proves Maggie Is Going Down A Dark Path
WARNING: SPOILERS for The Walking Dead 11x02, 'Acheron: Part 2' The Walking Dead has always been a dark series, considering its zombie apocalypse setting, but the final season's second episode, 'Acheron: Part 2', is particularly grim. Much of the drama in the first few episodes has come from the understandable tension between Negan and Maggie, as Maggie leads a group on a mission to reclaim her previous community, Meridian, and secure enough food for the struggling Alexandria.

Horror on the Small Screen: The Best TV Horror Villains
Similar to film, television horror depends on a few key formulas. Not only do you need to have high stakes and stunning visuals to keep an audience interested, but you need a menacing villain to hold it together. It also gives you something to be scared of or be angry about for weeks to come.

What I'm Hoping For With "American Horror Story: Double Feature"
It goes without saying the excitement for the long awaited “American Horror Story: Double Feature” is through the roof. I know I’m among those excited fans. I’m very intrigued with the resent teasers, the idea of two world colliding (monsters of the deep in one story, then aliens and UFOs being in the other story), and the official trailer itself and the likely story that will be told. Everything looks promising.
