Sharon Ooja Reacts After Yet Another Woman Bashes Her Marriage

Nollywood actress Sharon Ooja's wedding has been the topic of conversation ever since the day that it happened and her husband's face was revealed. There have been so many things said, accusations made, and thought pieces written and recorded about Sharon Ooja's marriage, and now, another woman is putting her voice in the conversation.

Online, a video thought piece recorded by a woman named MARO is making its round today. The video, recorded and posted on July 6th, is today being picked up by popular blogs and being circulated. In fact, one of Nigeria's most popular blogs, Instablog9ja, posted the video, merely 2 hours before Sharon Ooja made her Instagram story post.

In the video made by MARO, Maro accused Sharon Ooja of having Christian Exceptionalism. According to her:

MARO: "Sharon has a classic case of Christian Exceptionalism aka 'my case is different'. In Christian theology, Christians are taught that whatever is happening to everyone else, they will be exempt from that. Now add that with a woman who wants to get married and is also very religious, and maybe has a bit of internalized misogyny, she will now take that Christian learning of my case is different and also that pick me-ism of 'I'm not like other girls', when you combine that, it's one heck of a recipe."

Shortly after Instablog and other news outlets started carrying this video around, Sharon Ooja took to her social media to drop a story that many people believe is in direct response to the fresh set of opinions that are being thrown around about her marriage. Here's what Sharon posted.

Taking to her social media to post merely over 2 hours after the video above was posted on Instablog and other social media pages, Sharon Ooja said:

SHARON OOJA: SON army best in the whole world. Grateful for you all!!!! You people make all the difference, best support system any one could ask for. Thank you for being soooo good to me, supporting my brand being so kind. God bless and grant you all peace and genuine favour
