Your Malapropism is Showing
"You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means." ~Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride This little bit of fun was inspired by an article by the very talented Harmony Kent, about homonyms and similar word comparisons that often cause trouble for writers. It's a very well written, informative piece that's more than worth the time to read. It's also the first in a series I'm sure you'll want to follow, so please, go read it:

Think Faster, Tiff!!! 😂
I just completed Judey's 100 thoughts in 20 minutes Challenge. Clearly, this wasn't the Challenge for me! LOL 😂 I only came up with 58 in the allotted timeframe, but hey, I had a lot of fun, and I gave it a good old college try! I'm actually proud of myself for even attempting this task.

Wedding Humor in Real Life
I am a musician and have been honored to sing in hundreds of weddings as couples make their lifetime commitments to each other. I have sung in cathedrals, churches, farms, beaches, event halls, homes, and even a car dealership. Some brides want simple weddings and others want to be Princess Brides. Below, are some humorous moments I witnessed over the years. These real-life anecdotes seem to grow funnier with time.

#100 Things in 20 Minutes Challenge
A Challenge has been passed around among many of the Vocal creators in our social groups, and after I read two of them I decided I’d take it on- it sounded like fun. But it's about yucky foods and just thinking about it sounds gaggy.

Reindeer Brains
Our friends Malinda and Jon recently got back from a visit to Denmark. We’ve never traveled abroad, so I was naturally excited to hear their stories and live vicariously. We learned about Danish museums, Danish landmarks, and how cycling is the main mode of travel in Copenhagen. All of that is lovely, of course, but what about the FOOOOOD?

Dreams are Eye Openers
It was overwhelming. There was just too much useless stuff I needed to pack in order to catch my flight back to Syracuse, NY in time. How did I accumulate all this junk in one year of college, I thought? I was furiously cramming books, term papers, notebooks, clothes, shoes, toys, candy, Christmas gifts, antiques, kitchen appliances, musical instruments, and lampshades into my variety of carry-on bags, suitcases, and trunks.

Dear Mom
Author © Jay Kantor "Just put some Ketchup on it and Eat-It" — Dinners Disguise — Mom, such a character! She was a Huge-Hugger! She just wouldn’t let those she loved pass by without a little kiss or hug; so we just put-up-with-it! The spitting image of actress Betty White, always with the sparkling dimpled-smile. She served (2) terms as P.T.A. President. I don’t really know why, she never had much of a podium 'Schpiel' - So-to-Speak - But, being very pretty and sociable probably made up for that?
