GST Return Filing
What is the New GST Return System? At the 31st GST Council Meet, it was decided to introduce a new Return Plan under GST for taxpayers. This return plan will contain simplified return forms, to facilitate filing for taxpayers registered under GST. Under this New Recovery Program, there will be one main GST RET-1 return and 2 GST ANX-1 and GST ANX-2 connectors. This refund will need to be lodged on a monthly basis, with the exception of small taxpayers who may choose to lodge the same quarterly term. Minor taxpayers are taxpayers with a profit of up to Rs 5 crore in the previous financial year.
