Dear Diary, It’s me again. Lex. Man, this year has been… Really, the last three years have been… WHEW! However, THIS YEAR, it feels like I finally became consistent in creating change in my life, rather than waiting for it to happen. Of course majority of what I have attempted to do, has gone the opposite of my way BUT that’s all a part of trusting the process.

My Place Our Worlds
Honestly, I can only tell you about my place in my world. The world that I've created. I can tell you in my world, that I am a talented, driven entrepreneur. In my family's world, I am a lazy, irresponsible failure. I can tell you that my place in my world is to help spread love and joy to other worlds. In my neighbor's world, my place is below them in a place where anguish and envy reside. In my world, my place is under the sun, the moon, and the stars, and I am a vessel that transmutes love and joy. In the real world; I am a consumer, another like, and a new follower. My place in my world is to create a beacon of hope for other worlds. My world speaks to me; and divinely guides me so that my place amongst these worlds is no longer mistaken. I’ve come to realize; that my role in these worlds is so minuscule but so detrimental. I am the consumer that supports a small business and gives an Entrepreneur hope. I am the 776th ‘like’ before you so that you have the joy of being number 777, connecting you to the universe. I am your new follower who fawns over your creativity. I am your neighbor, here to help in any way I can. I am your family here to break our generational curse. Most importantly, I am me; here to be the best version of me to inspire you.

Imagine you are applying for a new job, how does the interview go, and how much money are you likely to earn? Saturday. A free day to help out poor people. I wonder if there’s a volunteer job to help them out. I ask my chauffeur to take me into town. Driving along the streets, I see a sign. On the front is written in big bold blue letters: ‘Help the poor!! Hiring today*!!’ On the bottom, in smaller letters, it says: ‘*As this is volunteer work, you will not get paid. You will only be provided with money to help the poor.’ I request my chauffeur to pull over on the side of the road. “I’ll call you when I need to be picked up,” I advise him. “ In the meantime, you can have some free time. Use this.” I say as I hand him a wad of cash. “Have fun.” “Uh- Thank you?” He stammers. “You deserve to have some fun after driving me around all week.” I declare. “Bye”. As I get out he waves kindly and smiles. “You have fun too”.

Heroes
As a prior Active-Duty Marine now turned Marine Reservist, I know how it feels to wonder if you’re making a difference in the world and I’m here to tell you that you are. Most people take for granted cashiers, librarians, bus drivers, and all of the other everyday jobs that are vital to our nation’s growth and survival. Nowadays we have way too many songs about Xanax and faces covered with tattoos, and way too many asses on camera with random dudes. Too much Gucci, Louis, Prada, Nike, and other clothing companies trying to brand you. And I know it’s not much and most people will probably scoff it off but even so. This is to those who never hear it but probably need to, because I’ve been there and felt that pain. I just wanted to let you all know that even if it is just me. I want you all to know someone out there is really appreciative of what you do. This is for everyone who is doubting their job and contribution to society. I just wanted to make something to say thanks.

The Draw To Being A Healer
The Calling To Be A Healer One that feels like the walls are closing in when in a large crowd of people and feels drawn to nature to feel peace within and those who other’s seem to flock to when in need of feeling better. These are the natural healers of the world. The ones who are natural empaths and destined to be a healer in some form. If you feel like you are one who is a natural healer you probably feel the draw to learn at some point along your journey all that is of supernatural and of the non normal ways of society. I have always joked around calling myself, “Not Normal” because I don’t feel like I fit in.
