How to Battle Your Holiday Stress
December. Loved by many. Hated by just as many. To those who love it, it's a time where it's a winter wonderland—full of wonder and adventure. However, for us, less fortunate souls, 'tis the season that causes the most stress—everything from the bone-chilling temperatures (at least compared to what summer months bring) to finals approaching if you're a student to money issues due to dwindling funds because it's the end of the year and the holiday season to sickness that just seems to hit all of us at some point.

Attract Money
For a long time, I thought that money was a bad thing. I was told that you have to work hard to get money. If you want children, a big house, if you want to travel, you need money. A lot of it. Everyone around me is struggling with money. I see people that are stuck in a job that they hate. Life is not about money. It is more about having fun.

Things Confident People Say
In many ways, confident people can talk without thinking as much because they have confidence. Insecure people don’t have this luxury because they are constantly worried about what others think. Confident people don’t waste their time worried about the opinions of others. We have spent a lot of time thinking about the things confident people say as if they were to give advice to the less confident. Some of the tips below are what they would say, but they are also things confident people do naturally. Confident people are masters at giving advice to others; so, here are the things confident people will recommend to insecure people to do in order to become more confident.

Focus on Love
“There are so many people who love you.Don’t focus on the ones who don’t.” Saw that meme on Facebook the other day. I don’t know who quoted that but it is a powerful revelation. I guess it’s not just me who seemed to want to prove my love to people who couldn’t have cared less. Maybe I’m not the only one who spent time agonizing over an unread text or a nonchalant reply from someone I’d invested so much of my energy and time in to.

Dear Sixteen-Year-Old Me
Dear sixteen-year-old me, I know you think you're just waiting for your life to begin, you keep saying to yourself that first you have to graduate high school, figure out a career path to follow, and somewhere along the way you're going to get married to your amazing boyfriend and live happily ever after.

J's Journal
When you get confused sometimes, it is hard to be solid in anything that you are doing. I find myself looking and reaching out to people, activities, and experiences to fill that void and they never work. I feel so overwhelmed sometimes and I know there are others who feel the same way that I do or are going through similar emotions. I want to create this journal, blog, post, however you want to call it so that I can express and release tension I have within myself, allow others to connect with me and to see a way that can change their perspective and/or give them an opportunity to build themselves and their peers to another level. I want everyone to be entertained, enlightened, informed, supported, and peaceful while reading any content that I publish. Below are the topics and the directions I plan to address and speak on throughout this process and journey.
