Falling
An acrostic poem about distraction.

Doubting myself again,
I must think about
Something else entirely, this writing
Takes a lot of effort.
Riding horses takes a different kind,
And that is where my mind needs to be;
Counting strides
Takes concentration
In the moment
Or balance is lost;
Nodding to the ground.

Marvelous!!! Loving it!!!♥️♥️💕
Nicely done, KJ!
Clever, how things that require focus can be in themselves a perfect distraction 🤔
Love this poem 🥰
Beautifully done. I love how the second part of your poem snaps your reader's focus back to attention; we were distracted and we didn't even know it! 😉 Masterfully done. 💓
Distraction can be painful. Important to know the moments & circumstances where & when it can be safely allowed.
