So, they learned to talk to themselves in the darkness, to hold themselves tight on the edge of collapse, and to grit their teeth through the moments when no one responded.

A Good Breakfast and Fresh Flowers
Others may leave, but you will always remain. So, eat a good breakfast every day, keep fresh flowers in your room, and occasionally buy yourself a gift. The secret of life is nothing more than this: what remains in your life amidst the tranquility is what you truly desire—what truly belongs to you. It doesn’t have to be much, but it must be good.
