Hidden in Sight
I remember you in my bones, a stranger in my sight and yet you are my birth mother. You return for me now and I feel empty darkness surrounds you. You reach for me and I run from you life is not present in your eyes. I am not strong enough to resist and I am being ripped away from my loved ones without a goodbye. My light where are you?

For the First Person I Ever Got to Be
i hope you understand now that some things are not in your control and that people will constantly leave but that there's still more to live through for the first person i ever got to be, you didn't have a love you could call your own you taught yourself to enjoy things for as long as they last.

Window Full of Sky
Water is glistening in the sun. The sea hugs the shore. Boats big and small. Children playing below on the green. The window is full of sky. Rich white clouds. Music fills you. You'll have books to read later. Baby girl, you have independence, you have freedom and possibilities, you have dreams and mind and body to guide them slowly into the realm of reality. This is beautiful. This life and this country with all its flaws and hurts. Moments you can embrace are all around you, every day. Feel them, touch them, smell and breathe and kiss your little children and one day kiss the lips of some pretty boy or other. Look at those birds, hear them. Your eyes follow the ships gliding over the horizon. Appreciate it. I am here with you. Don't forget that. I whisper in your heart and I hug you with invisible arms at night.
